A corporate restaurant booking needs a clear understanding of the venue, the event format and the services included. Routine dining, a private event and a programme involving additional entertainment or beverage arrangements can raise different questions. Identify the actual proposal and use the relevant local authority or qualified adviser for requirements that need confirmation.

## Establish the venue and activity

Record the restaurant's location, contracting entity, intended date, group format and proposed services. Ask which parts of the event the venue provides directly and which involve another operator. Reconcile the agreement, invoice and proposed payee before releasing a deposit.

For Dubai food establishments, Dubai Municipality provides relevant establishment information and service routes. Other emirates have their own applicable authorities. Do not treat a document associated with one location as blanket evidence for a different venue or activity.

## Ask about the exact event requirements

Have the venue identify any permissions or restrictions relevant to the proposed format, entertainment or beverage service. Obtain current confirmation through the appropriate route where needed. Do not assume that ordinary restaurant operation automatically covers every private-event addition the organiser requests.

If alcoholic beverages are part of the proposal, ask the venue to confirm the applicable authorisation and conditions for that venue and event. This is a verification question, not a claim that the same rules apply to every establishment or emirate.

## Review guest suitability separately

Confirm the venue's response to stated dietary and access requirements with its responsible team. Ask what it can and cannot provide, and communicate material limitations to the organiser before commitment. Do not convert a general assurance into a guarantee that every guest requirement is covered.

For example, a venue may offer a menu adjustment but be unable to meet a particular guest's requirements under its operating arrangement. The organiser needs a workable alternative rather than an unqualified note that dietary needs have been handled.

## Keep a scoped evidence record

Document what was checked, the source, reviewer and unresolved action. Separate business and activity verification from the operational assessment of seating, service and menu suitability. Each answers a different purchasing question.

Revisit the review when the event format, location or service provider changes. A booking should not silently expand into a materially different event after the deposit. The organiser's approval record should describe the actual occasion being purchased and the conditions under which the venue has agreed to deliver it.
