Specialty-clinic due diligence should connect the proposed agreement to a named facility, verified scope and clear administrative responsibilities. A corporate group brochure or a well-known clinician's profile does not establish every part of that arrangement. Keep clinical assessment with qualified healthcare reviewers and use procurement to organise the commercial and information evidence needed for the actual access service.

## Identify the facility and parties

Record the contracting entity, clinic name, address and proposed specialty service. Ask which regulator governs the facility and how its current status can be checked. Use the applicable official route rather than assuming a single UAE-wide verification process.

For facilities within its scope, Dubai's Medical Registry is an official verification resource. The buyer should retain the specific search and date, not simply a link to the portal. A result supports the information shown within that system; it is not a guarantee of every advertised service or clinical outcome.

## Examine dependencies outside the clinic

Ask which services are delivered onsite and which involve another facility or external provider. Identify who coordinates appointments, records and payment where a referral occurs. Have qualified reviewers assess relevant clinical-governance questions rather than leaving procurement to infer suitability from a list of partner names.

For example, a consultation provider may use a separate diagnostic facility. The corporate agreement should explain the administrative boundary and any separate charge or authorisation process. Approval of the consultation arrangement should not silently become approval of every downstream service.

## Review privacy and commercial controls

Map eligibility checks, booking data, billing and employer reports. Have the appropriate legal and privacy reviewers assess the arrangement and minimise information shared for administrative purposes. Clinical records should not flow to the employer merely because it negotiates or pays under an access agreement.

Review fees, exclusions, changes, complaints and the treatment of unresolved invoices. Clarify insurance-related assumptions and avoid representing a corporate rate as universal coverage. The patient-facing information should explain the process without implying that procurement has pre-authorised all care.

## Record a bounded approval

Document evidence, reviewers, conditions and limitations. Revisit relevant checks when the facility, named professional, service scope or information arrangements change. Use administrative references and process walkthroughs as supporting evidence, with clinical review separate. A useful due-diligence record explains what the buyer has approved and why, while preserving the distinction between a commercial access arrangement and an individual clinical recommendation.
