Training handover should give the employer a usable account of what was delivered, what learners practised and what remains for follow-up. An attendance list alone is not a complete learning record where the contract included materials, assessment or an employer summary. Keep the evidence proportionate and avoid overstating what it proves.

## Reconcile delivery with the accepted design

Compare the sessions, objectives and exercises delivered with the agreed scope. Record material adaptations and their reasons. If a planned activity could not run because the environment or learner prerequisites were missing, keep that limitation visible rather than describing the course as unchanged.

Identify the trainer and relevant delivery dates or cohorts. A generic completion document should not obscure which version of the programme each group received.

## Receive the agreed materials

Confirm learner guides, practice files and employer outputs included in the purchase. Open the files and check that they can be used in the intended environment. A broken link or inaccessible format is an incomplete handover even if the session itself was well received.

Clarify permitted reuse and editing through the agreement. Do not assume that every slide, exercise or recording may be redistributed without limitation. Keep rights questions with the appropriate contract reviewer.

## Interpret assessment records carefully

Distinguish attendance, course completion, assessed results and any external credential. Record who issued the evidence and its scope. A provider completion certificate should not become a claim that the employee is authorised or competent for every related task.

For a hypothetical supervisor programme, an exercise result may show progress in a particular conversation skill. It does not establish performance in every workplace situation. Preserve that boundary in the employer summary.

## Plan the next workplace action

Ask the provider to identify unresolved questions and agreed follow-up. Name the employer contact responsible for providing opportunities to apply the learning or reviewing later performance. The training centre cannot independently control workplace tools, management support or task allocation.

Handle learner information and recordings through the employer's policies and contract. Share only what the receiving managers need for the legitimate programme purpose rather than distributing detailed individual records broadly.

Reconcile final charges and outstanding deliverables before closing the engagement. The handover should let a future coordinator understand what was purchased, what evidence was obtained and what remains uncertain. It supports continued learning and a fair supplier review without turning a completed course into an unsupported guarantee of lasting competence or business improvement.
