Review accuracy, actual lead time, source evidence, record quality and resolution of questions. Record failures and require specific corrections before expansion. Where a key process changes, repeat the affected part of the trial. The pilot gives procurement and the workshop a shared evidence base for future orders, rather than turning a successful courier delivery into a blanket approval for every new part in the supplier's catalogue.
